Deputy Director for Environmental Engineering
Mr. Jan Bondaruk, PhD, is a respected expert in the field of environmental engineering, particularly in the area of environmental protection programming and management using spatial information systems for sustainable development of brownfield sites. For many years, he has been an expert in monitoring the state of the environment, including using innovative technologies and improving the efficiency of energy use in municipal systems. He is the co-author of dozens of reports on the impact of projects on the environment, as well as feasibility studies and applications for investment projects financed by EU funds. He is also an expert of the European Commission in the evaluation of projects in the Horizon 2020 program. He is actively involved in the implementation of innovative pro-environmental solutions, including as a member of the Silesian Innovation Council and expert teams evaluating investment projects in innovation, environmental protection and revitalization of degraded areas.
