Marek Sutkowski, graduated from the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology, PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He has experience in the field of gensets and cogeneration units as well as conventional and alternative fuels, both gaseous and liquid. He has been dealing with methods of using hydrogen in piston engines for over 20 years. He participated in several innovative research and development projects, mostly financed by European funds. In the years 2006-2016 he was employed in the power plant technology department of Wärtsilä. Responsible for the development of gas gensets and cogeneration units, in particular in terms of increasing efficiency and unconventional fuels applications. Since 2016, he has been employed at Horus-Energia and is responsible for the development and implementation of innovative solutions aimed at increasing the reliability and optimization of the operation of genset and cogeneration units as well as the possibility of using a wide range of liquid and gaseous fuels, including special fuels and hydrogen.
