Vice President of the Management Board for Asset Management and Development
Graduate of Wroclaw University of Technology in management and Wroclaw University of Economics in finance and corporate accounting. He holds the title of CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
He has been involved in the energy sector for over 10 years. He has extensive experience in, among other things, preparing business strategies, evaluating investment and development projects, merger and acquisition processes, due diligence, and creating business plans for many companies in Central Europe and the Middle East.
From November 2021 to 2024, he was employed by The Boston Consulting Group, most recently as Principal.
From 2016 to 2021, he worked at TAURON Polska Energia S.A., holding positions including Executive Director for Mergers, Acquisitions and Disinvestments, Deputy Executive Director for Investments, and Head of the Project Analysis and Evaluation Team. From 2014 to 2016 he worked at The Boston Consulting Group, and from 2013 to 2014 he was a market analyst at Fortum Power and Heat Polska sp. z o.o. in the area of production optimization, fuel management and energy trading.
Mr. Michał Orłowski was a member of supervisory boards at TAURON Ciepło sp. z o.o. and TAURON Nowe Technologie S.A., and chairman of the Supervisory Board at: Nowe Jaworzno Grupa TAURON sp. z o.o., Magenta Grupa TAURON sp. z o.o., TAURON Ciepło sp. z o.o., TAURON Nowe Technologie S.A.
